What can you expect on your first visit?
Our dentists will perform a thorough clinical examination and assessment of your teeth, gums, soft tissues and jaws. This will provide a baseline measurement of the state of your oral and dental health. Also, digital radiographs may be performed if required in order to detect problems which are not visible with clinical examination. If deemed necessary, a thorough full mouth scale and polish may be performed to remove build up of plaque and tartar. The removal of plaque and tartar not only improves the health of your gums and teeth, it may be required assist with the clinical examination.
On those occasions when you present with an immediate problem, we may be able to attend to your problem, and may advise you of any other issues found that may impact on your dental and oral health, and what can be done to correct them.
What about costs?
After the thorough clinical examination, our dentists will discuss with you all the necessary findings, your treatment needs, and your treatment options. We will provide you with an opportunity to ask questions, and discuss with you, your treatment plan going forward
We will inform you of all the potential costs before the commencement of any treatment. At Greater Knox Dental, we are very honest and upfront regarding all the costs of your potential treatment, and may provide you with more cost effective treatment options if they are available.
